Welcome

dBC welcomes Sam Riley full-time

April 22, 2024
by SAM RILEY

Sam Riley has increased her commitment to the dBC team and become a full-time Acoustic Consultant.

Sam is a full Member of the Institute of Acoustics with 28 years experience, and has in-depth knowledge of Local Authorities from her previous employment. The opportunity for Sam to increase to full-time has been due to the continued expansion of dBC work around the UK.  Sam brings to dBC expertise in noise impact and environmental noise assessments and noise at work surveys.
Acoustic consultant responsibilities may vary as they work across different sectors and industries to provide sound-related advice and recommendations. One of their primary roles is to control and monitor noise levels in various settings, such as reducing sound from aeroplanes and traffic. They may also work alongside architects to design structures that reduce unwanted sound by introducing sound buffers, choosing suitable materials and planning the layout of buildings to block noise pollution.
Mick and all at dBC wish Sam all the best in her new Consultancy role.
